Where it all began – A&S Building Contractors

Our story began over 40 years ago. At just 20 years old — still an apprentice carpenter learning my trade in Selfridges, London — my brother Andrew and I started our very first building company: A&S Building Contractors. We operated out of my small one-bedroom maisonette in North West London.

Back then, there were no computers or mobile phones to make business easier — just pagers and a house phone. It was hectic, but it worked. We took out ads in the Yellow Pages and Thomson Local, and the business grew overnight.

After a few successful years, Andrew and I went our separate ways but both remained in the building trade, continuing to develop our craft and experience.

Years later, I founded PWT – People With Talent, originally as a recruitment agency for the hospitality sector. At the time, I was balancing two jobs — building by day and managing a nightclub and restaurant by night. During that time, I helped transform a venue at The O2 in Greenwich into a thriving nightclub, restaurant, and live music venue. Through that experience, I discovered a real gap in the market for recruiting quality staff and performers in the urban music and hospitality sector.

After eight exciting years in hospitality, I returned full-time to the building industry — and that’s when I shifted the PWT brand from recruitment to construction. During this time, I had the privilege of working alongside some incredibly talented tradesmen — people whose skill, dedication, and pride in their work reminded me why I fell in love with this industry in the first place. Their passion reignited my own and inspired me to continue growing, learning, and striving for excellence in every project.

In 2023, I fell ill, and my brother Andrew stepped back in to help oversee one of my projects. In 2024, he supported me again during my recovery — and this time, he stayed. Together, we decided to rebuild and strengthen the PWT brand, creating what would become PWT Group UK — a company built on teamwork, trust, and over four decades of experience.

In 2024, PWT Group UK began specialising in luxury bathroom installations, building a dedicated team of skilled installers. We quickly earned a reputation for quality craftsmanship and reliability, winning new contracts and forming strong relationships with our clients and suppliers. On 15th April 2025, we officially registered PWT Group UK Ltd, committing fully to our passion — creating bespoke, high-end bathrooms.

Rebuilding the brand – PWT Group UK Ltd today

Today, we provide a complete, end-to-end service — from design, installation, and maintenance, through to full project management and flexible finance options with our trusted partners. This ensures every client enjoys a smooth, stress-free experience and a result that exceeds expectations — luxury, quality, and craftsmanship from start to finish.

Now in our second year, we continue to go from strength to strength. Our focus spans four key sectors: Luxury Homes, Property Developers, Hospitality, and Retail — all premium markets where quality and attention to detail matter most. We’ve partnered with estate agents, finance companies, and suppliers to ensure our clients receive the very best service and results.

This year, we’ve also welcomed four new members to our management team, helping us take PWT Group UK Ltd to the next level.

In April 2026, we’ll proudly celebrate our first anniversary as PWT Group UK Ltd — but in truth, it’s been 40 years in the making. Every success, every project, every partnership has been a step on this long journey.
